Better Draft Order

Summary

We will no longer rely on Yahoo! to decide the draft order. The Comissioner will randomly decide the order.

Goal

To ensure a consistent and reliable draft order leading into the season.

Proposal

Historically, we have allowed Yahoo! to randomize the draft order. This has created as much trouble as it is convenient. Any time the league settings needed to be modified, the draft order would randomize again.

To ensure that the draft order is consistent, regardless of the flaws in the service, the Commissioner will randomize the draft order according to their choosing. By default, it will be set with the “Wheel of Names”.
